How Inhouse Image works

Inhouse Image converts, compresses, and resizes photos entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone.

What happens to your file

When you choose a photo, your browser reads it from your disk into memory. The tool decodes it right there, resizes and re-encodes it with the canvas API (and a HEIC decoder for iPhone photos), and hands the result back as a download. When you close the tab, it's gone.
